Nottingham’s newest waterside neighbourhood, Trent Basin, witnessed its busiest opening event to date at the weekend, welcoming more than 150 homebuyers to its riverside show home launch.
During the special two–day event, eight of the most eagerly anticipated waterfront homes were released for sale by Trent Basin’s award-winning developers, Blueprint Regeneration and sales agents, FHP Living and Royston and Lund. Families, downsizers and first-time buyers came from as far afield as Huddersfield in Yorkshire, to view the stunning new three-storey show home for the first time.
With Summer just around the corner, the show home’s south-facing roof terrace and unique winter garden, which both provide spectacular views of the Hook Nature Reserve, proved to be a fantastic selling point. The winter garden is a new innovative design on each of the eight river homes that features full length, retractable windows so residents can enjoy the feeling of outdoor living come rain or shine.
This was also the first time that buyers had viewed the bespoke interior design throughout the three bedrooms and open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. Territory Interior Design of Manchester, decorated the house in colours of slate green, terracotta, warm creams and grey. Textured natural materials also completed the look, showcasing the natural, tranquil environment found directly on the show home’s doorstep.
In addition, visitors were able to view the only Penthouse apartment, the last remaining Mews house and the European-inspired Townhouses on Trent Lane. The striking four floor Tower House was also released for sale with visitors able to admire its one-off design architecture.
Sam Veal, Chief Executive at Blueprint Regeneration said: “We were proud to open our show home doors for the first time and showcase the stunning interior, contemporary design and waterside views as well as the tranquil lifestyle on offer at Trent Basin.
“The incredible turnout of visitors to the event highlighted just how sought-after these riverside homes now are, with an array of homebuyers keen to enjoy a slice of waterside living. Priced from £425,000, we don’t expect these homes to be on the market for long.”
